Barb:
since i am not a VERY experienced gardener and am still on the trial and error
thing, i also just plant where the plants are supposed to like it . I try to
allow for size and moisture and all of that but I am sure I am not very
scientific. Last year my wildflower garden awed everyone who saw it. So i
must have done something right--don't know exactly what that was, but I am
sure this year I will LEARN. I have just started gardening (and really into
it since this last summer) for the last 3 years. I am sure I know absolutely
nothing but I love doing it and learning. I would love some tips but am quite
content on the trial and error thing too. At least i like to try species that
a fare well in my zone (USDA 5 SUNSET 41). if i just have one very very
pleasing setting in my yard each summer, i think i am doing well. Maybe one
day my whole yard will be terrific, but as long as i succeed at just one
thing--I am jubulent!!
