I've concluded it's because you live 'Back East'. Liriope is some kind
of demonic botanical mutation that can't survive in Paradise. That's my
second conclusion.
(How's that for excusing my inability to grow something?)

I'm finishing my 2nd quarter of Fine Woodworking, and eyeing the family
checking account for Furniture Making. I considered Cabinet Making, but
the Instructor said any furniture maker can make cabinets, but not vice
versa. And the bigger accomplishment of ALL....drumroll,
puh-leese....TAH-DAH.....I still have ALL my fingers!
Using what I've learned to build the pergola??? Well, It sure would be
a fancy pergola to sport dove tailed joints and keyed miters! I think I
will use that part that says 'measure twice, cut once', tho.
Hope to see you someday! Tomorrow I see the CPA about my bottom line
for the year, and I may have a big expansion coming, if I did well
enough!
