Re: bare root

Are you in Canada or the U.S.?  I have bare root catalogues from both...

I ordered about 40 David Austin roses and a few other perennials last year
'bare root', and they are doing marvellously.  It's like Christmas when the
box arrives and you unwrap all these carefully wrapped plants.  My average
cost per rose was about $7, which is alot less than the $18 - $25 per David
Austin rose at the nurseries here.

I am about to curl up in front of the fire and read a few more catalogues.
