Knautia macedonica

Do any of you have knautia macedonica? This plant has intrigued me for a
couple of years now, because of the photo in the Thompson & Morgan
catalogue. Is there any chance that it would bloom the first year from
seed? Is it weedy? (something about the botanical name makes me suspicious)
Am really curious about this, because I grow datura that are not hardy but
seed themselves with abandon in the strangest places.
