Re: seeding perennials now


Thank you Marge, I appreciate your information and sites.

I did have great luck this spring with Old Spice Sweet Peas (oops, an annual
on a perennial list, sorry) and did as Susan had told me, soak them 24 hours
and plant at Presidents Day.  I had them blooming right into fall.  Yummy
fragrance.

Well, I did toss foxglove seed this summer, and I see I have little seedings
all over.  Hopefully my Verbascum have re-seeded, I just cut down their
"heads" and shook them densely in the beds near the mother plants.  You
think that will work?
