I'd be hesitant to compost any paper other than newspaper and I've not been
really successful with newspaper either.  I do know a woman who is our
local vermiculture guru (that means that she is farms worms) and she uses
shredded office paper (any color) for worm bedding.  I don't think I'd use
slick paper, but the printer/copier stuff should be fine.

Good luck and have fun shredding.  It is also great for stuffing packages...
