Variegated Daylilies

Bob,

thanks for your insight. Someone else e-mailed me and told me I was better
off with a clump of ribbon grass (kept contained, though) if I like the
variegated strappy leaves. I've had it up to "here" with orange
daylilies! I'm more interested in foliage nowadays. As I'm maturing
garden-wise, I'm finding that the hunt for interesting foliage is just as
important -- if not more so -- than the blooms in my area of the world.
The perennial blooms are fleeting, but the foliage is with me from spring
till frost.
