Donna, This combo sounds interesting, but have you thought enough about the plants requirements? The coreopsis like full sun to part shade in poor, well-drained soil. The tricyertis like part shade to full shade and a rich, moisture-retentive soil. You can probably get away with this pairing, but why not use plants that have similar cultural requirements? Might make maintenance easier.
