My grandmother had all sorts of wonderful plants in her garden in
Texas. She (and her children) claimed she could take a cutting from
only a stem with a rose flower, and it would grow. I can't prove this
was true, but perhaps someone knows if it possible?
I still have her wonderful Egyptian onions, which have been in the
family well over 100 years.
