This worked for me in Cincinnati two years ago, Nancy. Sprinkle the seed
right over the snow. I did it in late January. I did the same with larkspur
seed at the same time with much success. The larkspur have since reseeded
themselves. It's amazing that the delicate looking seedlings come out in the
fall and survive the winter freezes and snow.
