I don't know what zone you are in but - how about Geraniums- phaeum cultivars (there is a variegated one), macrorrhizum cultivars. Euphorbia amygdaloides var. robbiae (Mrs. Robb's bonnet). Lamium 'Herman's Pride". Bergenia. Spring bulbs.
Iris foetidissima.
