what growing and blooming

just returned from my daily stroll in the yard, and I know everyone can
hear the sounds of enjoyment coming from Mississippi.
gotta say this to Marge first, I noticed the first signs of life from
the Crinums bulbs I planted last fall. the little leaves that are
peeking through look like my amaryllis. have you checked yours? I'm
thankful they made it.
with my trusty magnifing glass I proceeded to inspect for seeds, and
there are a few. I don't know what they are yet, however I have handed
out instructions to my husband that he is not to even look at the flower
beds until I can determine if it's weeds or seeds.
what's blooming? grape hyacinth, crocus, daffodils, forsythia, caroline
jasmine, pansy's of course.
royal star magnolia, saucer magnolia, snowdrops, and the new stoke that
I just planted, some of it had buds and some is now blooming.
And just about everything is peeking out of the ground. I noticed the
bleeding heart made a showing this morning. we had a nice rain last
night, nice slow drizzle, just what we needed.........
checked on the redbud tree and give it another couple of warm days and
it will be in full bloom. the maple trees in the back are getting
leaves. iris (one has a bud), daylilies, stella de ore, phlox, the
rose companion, bee balm, hosta, spiderworts, mini amaryllis, I
replaced the shasta daisy's and coreopsis that I lost last summer.
woodland phlox, amaryllis are peeking out. We also planted 10 new wild
azelia's last week.
I also noticed one (1) bloom on one of my salmon colored azelia's,
couldn't believe that, and the "bell of woking" clematis that I thought
I had lost to the drought, is coming out of the ground.
I have been digging in the dirt for the past 2 weeks. our weather has
been outstanding, in the 60's and 70's
I've got the tree peony , blue daze, kaleidoscope hydrangea, and a
clematis to plant soon.
well , didn't mean to distract you from something important, but
couldn't keep this to myself any longer. I'm in heaven.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

happy gardening
