Mary, I had a stand of orientals that performed similar to yours -
yellow leaves that ultimately dropped off. The next year, I was
careful not to irrigate that part of the garden and the leaves were
fine - no yellowing. So it may be moisture. I use a general organic
fertilizer every spring & summer for everything and the lilies perform
as well as everything else. Orientals are a funny
bunch - some get bigger & better every year, others make a great show
one year and never appear again. Even bulbs of the same cultivars
from different suppliers have performed differently.
