Re: Gardens Illustrated
Hi Gene,
Although I have notused the website, I did subscribe to Gardens
Illustrated last year. It's at the glossier end of gardening magazines,
with a lot of emphasis on style. I think it's more of a specialist
magazine - most of its adverts were out of my price range - more for the
landed gentry with an independent income, umpteen acres and a willow
weaving sculpture workshop in an old stable block.
Ok, that was a bit unfair, but I am after all a get your hands and knees
very grubby down the tiny allotment I rent beside the railwayline type
of gardener.
In summary, almost a niche player in the gardening magazines market,
with at most 10 issues a year, all very expensively put together.
Hope that helps!
