Re: Gardens Illustrated
Hello Karen,
Thank you for your views on Garden Illustrated.
When growing up as a child I live in a very small rural community with a
railroad track going thorough the middle of town. The town came to be due to a
small mine. The mine died and so did the number of times the trains stopped to let
off passengers, but the town remains.
Left home, traveled the world to loose my county bumpkin background ... and
ended up here 20 years ago. Small town of about the same size, has a mill instead
of a mine, railroad going through the center of town. Who says you can not go back
home... whether you are aware of your actions or not.....
All to say I emphasize with you. However, style is not something that I pay
that much attention to.... quality of articles, plants covered, nurseries
detailed..... content... photos.... It is not necessarily how you say it as what
you have to say that is of interest to me. Love to hear an Oxford accent, but
would not want to speak in that fashion myself.
But then... I am a great admirer of Martha Stewart... so perhaps I can not be
taken seriously.;-)
