Has anyone tried Tree Guard? It's miraculous! Applied onoce in the fall to
evergreen trees and shrubs, it lasts all winter. When applied in the spring
to deciduous plants, it will need to be reapplied as plants continue to grow
new leaves but rain doesn't faze it. But, it's extremely bitter and one needs
to avoid inhaling it when spraying it, but the antidote's dark
chocolate...what a shame. Supposedly non-toxic and it's latex based. I've
been using it for about 4 years now and it's completely effective. My
local garden center carries it but if anyone's interested, I can post the
manufacturer and phone no. It's available in large jugs or small containers
with a squeeze trigger.
Now we can truly enjoy the deer year 'round.
