It's Janis, not Paul, but I think I can clear things up.  No, it's not a name
change, it's a typo. I mentioned E. rostratum, you typed E. nostratum.  
(Typos happen almost as often as name changes.)

It's on the second list Paul sent.  The USDA's Plants National Database lists
its distribution in Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana,
Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee & Texas.
