You can find details of The Gardener at www.whiteflowerfarm.com,
just click on the link for The Gardener. This is a great magazine
(Declaration of interest: I write for it!) with colour artworks
instead of photographs and with no advertising. Although
produced by White Flower Farm it is not simply a promotional sheet
for the nursery, although it so happens that there is a large feature
about a spectacular new border at the nursery in the current issue.
But I can say that when I've written for it, WFF was never even been
mentioned in the commissioning discussion, or afterwards. I mention
them as a source if they happen to carry the plants I'm
discussing.
It's not cheap, and there are no fat discounts to be had, but it
is good.

I am filled with chagrin, I don't think I know this magazine - is is UK of
American? Also, I have not been in the large bookstores in a while.
