Scarecrows and hoses


If you're plumbing something that will be "turned on" all the time, you
might want to think about using something other than garden hose, like
perhaps the black plastic pipe used for drip irrigation.  I left a water
hose under pressure while I was on a business trip; it sprang a leak and ran
through $400 of water before we noticed and got it turned off.  Not pretty.
