Re: Growing chelones


Lorna - I planted 6 chelone in pink and white(Chelone lyonaii "Hot Lips").  I
was told they were all bright pink but was delighted when some turned out
white.  I found them very easy to grow. The first year they gave minimal bloom
but in years 2 and 3 they have spread around and bloomed profusely.  It is
still something of a shy bloomer, but massed are wonderful.
