--- Begin Message ---I was taking a walk through the gardens yesterday and was consciously taking note of the showy plants at this time of the year..........working on a slide show inspired by the late Rosemary Verey.

The conifers of blue, green, yellow with their many shapes; the variegated boxwood, hellebores, a few ferns, Ephorbias.......particularly amygdaloides Purpurea ( my favorite) and also Robbiae, a wonderfful ground cover, some Carex, upright sedums, hosta scapes and much more. It's worth the tour any day the temps are above....well for me...zero ( no wind .please). what are your favorite winter sightings?
Now , the question. As i meandered down to the meandering stream, I saw plant tags here and there.......as a plantaholic, I buy one of everything.......and I found one "Macleaya microcarpa Kelways Coral Plume" I've grown cordata but not this one and I can't even remember where I got it in 2001....only visited a couple hundred last year.......
Does anyone know this plant?
