If I recall, Susan, you are in PNW. Corydalis lutea is not a problem here.
In fact, it often is difficult to keep going. That and C. ochroleuca are
similar. Both are sort of pass-along plants and valued as they are
everblooming. Our growing season is short so any plant that seed itself and
keep going in 120 days more or less is welcome.
The plant everyone wants this spring is Corydalis elata. That is a blue on
supposedly without the problems of the previously marketed blues.
