Re: Plant markers


One of the main things I do to make labels last and not get lost is to
always push the label all the way into the ground and always put it on the
north side of the plant. Pencil lasts longer than any ink.   Taking videos
is very useful for remembering where things are planted.  I tested laminated
label makers (I'm not referring to the old dymo things) and so far it has
lasted 5 years in the sun, longer that the stake.  The Halls aluminum stake
labels with pencil last forever and are difficult to erase.  You can always
rewrite or write on the backside of the label.
