Glazing balls

I had never seen a ball covered in mirror pieces before and just figured
out my own directions. I used Liquid Nails for construction and broke
the mirror into pieces in a stack of newspapers. It took 3 hours but I
love it but still need 2 more. I did not put any pieces on the space
where the fingers go because you will need a space to put the ball. I
found a large juice can to raise the ball while I was adhering mirror to
the rest of the surface. After 48 hours I put grout in the spaces. I
did not seal the grout and moss has grown in there. I use it in my dark
fern area down by the creek and it gives a spark of light and movement
to the dark green of the ferns. I have since seen other people using
regular tile adhesive but the Liquid Nails holds every thing else and
works for me.
If you have a hill such as I have, the holes are great to place over a
rebar placed upright in the ground and it will not roll.
