Hi Claire,
Glad that you're enjoying the 'Hawera' in pots. It's a great flower.
It's in about 4 places in my yard. The most successful is in full sun,
gets lots of rain in the spring and fall and bone dry in summer. That
patch gets the best color, most blooms per scape, straight stems etc.
And you're right, it's an easy forcer. Only complaint is that the
foliage can become too lank.
Another miniature that is a remarkable do-er in my garden is 'Segovia'.
For anyone who wants to see an accurate photo, there's a great picture at

I've also found it to be a good forcer.
