Maybe a teaching tool. Also, because of size, a favorite with children's
museums which have collections of animals these days. Poor 'ole slugs. Also
many other insect and reptilian creatures dragged around for viewing by kids
who never take a walk in the woods anymore.
I should think I have not one more thought on slugs but could comment that
the smaller species, less spectacular, do the most damage.
