Has anyone on this list ever ordered from Roots and Rhizomes in
Randolph, Wisconsin? I see some very nice things in their catalogue and
their zone matches well enough for Illinois that I trust their hardiness
advice. They have some lovely daylilies and it seems like the price
isn't too bad and there are other plants that look good (nice red
Astrantias, Jack Frost Brunnera, etc. ... yummy). But I wonder about the
wisdom of bareroot shipping for some of the perennials??? BTW, they say
Omphalodes verna starry eyes is zone 5. I had one and lost it, but now I
don't remember if I lost it to winter or to a blazing humid summer ...
Any one tried it? It is very cute in shade.

zone 5b
