Title: Re: Coreopsis I’ve always grown Coreopsis, but usually just the “ordinary” yellow varieties, such as C. lanceolata, C. verticillata and C. tripteris.
Years ago, then the first of the varieties of other colors came out, I tried one of the pink one (can’t remember which one), but it did not survive for me (could have my own fault in culture). I noted that some of these varieties are not listed as not being hardy to Z 5.
Can any of you near me (Milwaukee/Z5b), relate successful experience with any of these newer varieties (white, pink, multi-color)? At least without having to give the plant extraordinary attention.

I got Cosmic Evolution directly from Daryl Probst's Garden Vision 2 years ago. The first year the flowers were all solid white. The second year, again all white until we hit a cool spell late in the summer and I finally saw some coloration, very pretty, on 3 flowers. I just checked my photo; it was mid-September.
Also any experience with Coreopsis " Cosmic Evolution" or "Star Cluster". Gotta love the long bloom tome on these little workhorses.
And Geranium "Sandrine" - think I'd have to do it in a large pot because my garden is really small, but the foliage colour alone seems great and then these intense magenta flowers!
