Subject: Hellebores germination
I bought some hellbeores seeds a while back and refrigerated them. What is the
procedure for germainating them? I have a small greenhouse and understand that
they need a particular procedure of warm and cold temps in order for them to
germinate.
I received hellebore seeds from Australia (from an internet friend) and
placed them in moist paper towels and a plastic baggie, in the
refrigerator. Left them for a long, long time. At least six months. Finally
little roots appeared and I planted them in regular planting mix as per
instructions. They are still very small but growing. I am hoping to have a
wonderful plant one day and how cool to have the seed from Australia and
all through this electronic world.
