So true, Bill. In my experience, Lychnis coronaria and Malva
moschata grew well but did not flower in their first year despite
being started indoors ahead of season. Dianthus gratianopolous
(spelling looks wrong on species name but you know what I mean --
Cheddar pinks) will flower the first year, and flower and flower and
flower.
Anybody else have experiences to share about "the list"?
