Re: spring and the robins


Hi Peggy,

    Don't get disillusioned... I've lived in Toronto, too, as Bob already
knows; it's a funny city, climatically - some areas of it seem completely
immune to winter while others are colder IMHO than anywhere else on Earth.
Growing season in my folks' backyard in Toronto typically starts 2 weeks
earlier and ends 2 weeks later than most of the surrounding areas.

    Here in central New York, we spotted our first robin last week - amazingly,
it's still here - and reacted exactly as you have!
