Bill (and the rest of the list);
SKID Plants is a small wholesale nursery we started about 2 years ago
specializing in 'specimen' size plants of unusual perennials, trees and
shrubs.
We hope to offer retail mailorder via the internet in about a year.
We got into the business by mistake, after ordering seeds of plants we
could not find sources for.....you all know how that goes. We _needed_ 3
plants, got a few dozen, couldn't throw them away......we were off to the
races.
During the week (or whenever it is that we get assignments), we live and
work in NYC (SKID Photography) doing mostly editorial portraits,
specializing in music industry celebrities (like Rock & Roll).
As to the meaning of 'SKID', it might be best to refer you to our website
for the explanation of the name itself
