loA couple of years ago I was observed in a ditch cutting purple
loosestrife heads and spraying with roundup (plants too tough to pull/
out). Was asked to stop by a passerby. Didn't. OPP (Ontario Provincial
Police) arrived. Gave me ticket etc. etc. and carried on. Finally had
my day in court - armed with info from Kay & the net generally - Judge
lectured the police and told them to read up on their noxious weeds.
Total vindication. Crown wanted to put it over so I could get a laywer.
Said I didn't need a laywer for such a non-issue.
