It's the asparagus that worries me......they have such long roots

8-10inches is enough wood is not cheap but SHOP around we were figured out
$60 a 8x4 ft bed but then found wood lumber for a THIRD the price--NON
TREATED is our preference.
I think asparagus needs 2 ft
also anyone ever grow red potatos??
I am having trouble understanding this cover the shoots part.
