Hi all,
I use the same method as Bob with Bermuda grass. Either a solid layer of
newspaper at least 10 sheets thick or a single layer of cardboard. Cover
either with a nice looking mulch. The grass will be dead in a season and you
will have a lovely bed with two layers of organic matter already enriching the
soil. It works great here in Florida especially in the summer.
