This is one of three Salix I have and I like it quite a bit. Gets fairly
large, say around 9 or 10 feet tall; grows quickly. Ought to like a
lake-side position.  Wants sun, really, but will put up with light shade in
my USDA z 7 garden.  Catkins are black and then fuzz out with red
anthers...rather neat IMO.
