Garden Happiness

Have just spent a couple of hours sitting in our garden and wanted to share
our first garden pleasures of the new millennium.

The Euphorbias, Acanthus, Hellebores, Grasses, Cordylines, Phormiums and
Ferns, to name a few, are giving us so much pleasure.

The sun is shining and warm, bulbs are showing their green tips as are some
perennials - let us pray that a sharp frost will not devour them.

The birds have joined us and have partaken of the seed and nuts that abound
in our garden - what more could we wish for?

We have enjoyed the list tremendously - it is lovely to hear about gardens,
gardeners, their problems and their successes from so far away and we have
learned so much in the short time we have been a part of it.

Thank you all so much and may you all have a happy, healthy and wonderful
gardening year 2000.

Valerie and Arthur, South Yorkshire, England.
