If I just had better note-taking habits...
I'm looking for the author and source for a quote from a passage in which
the author compared annuals, biennials and perennials. If you know the
exact quote too, all the better.
To paraphrase the quote:
Perennials: plants which, had they lived, would have bloomed for two or
more years.
