Re: "Treasured Perennials"

Weiss Brothers Nursery (www.plantperennials.com) carries the species Zauschneria californica (bright orange-red flowers), along with two varieties, 'Alba' and 'Solidarity Pink.'  This is usually called "California Fuchsia" but I've also seen it in other catalogues as "Hardy Fuchsia."  It's supposed to be hardy to Zone 6.  I got one last spring which is currently undergoing its winter-hardiness test.  ;-)

As a plant, it looks like a rosemary or some other Mediterranean herb.  The stems are very brittle -- break off at the glance.

I obtained the above-referenced book by Graham Stuart Thomas.  In it, he
has named some perennials that I am most interested in.  Has anyone grown
the following or know of a source:

Hemerocallis 'Kwanso Variegata' (a variegated daylily!)
Selinum wallichianum (a glorified cow parsley)
Nepeta govaniana (a.k.a Dracocephalum; bears multitudes of small,
lemon-yellow lipped flowers)
Epilobium canum (a.k.a Zauschneria californica cana)
Delphinium nudicaule (a red flowering version that is a loose bunch of
blooms -- no spikes)
Crepis incana (looks like pink daisies)
Anemone nemorosa 'Vestal' (a most unusual flowering form)

You would think with all of the spring catalogs coming out that I could
find these, but I'm afraid that some may only be in cultivation in Thomas'
native UK.

Any help would be appreciated.
