Karen,
Online there are some resources I've found - nothing totally
comprehensive, but....
The Department of Plant Science at the University of Connecticut has
a very nice online plant database (woody type plants) with audio
pronunciation of the plant names...
http://www.hort.uconn.edu/plants/
You can browse by common or botanical names...
The English Cottage Gardening site - basically selling a CD - has a
"selected" list of plants with their phonetic pronunciation at:
http://www.gardeningcd.com/cdplant/articles/bot_prun.shtml
I've also found an interesting site devoted to the pronunciation of
Biological Latin in general:
http://www.saltspring.com/capewest/pron.htm
Might prove useful.
