You get your wish... you are wrong. Well, partly so. Many of the Carex are
great for the dry shade, raised beds. Especially if there is decent humus in the
soil. I think I am hung up on, what else, the miniature and dwarf size, variegated
cultivars. There are Carex of every size and for just about every location.
