Re: Garden business (OT)


Mary, sorry if I offended you.  But, the fact remains that, short of taking 
vacation time, the only time I have available to shop is evenings or 
weekends.  Fortunately for me, most of the nurseries in central Arkansas are 
open, at least on Saturdays.  And, I do *most* of my garden shopping in 
nurseries or by mail order (to get seeds to start in my greenhouse...does 
that help give me credence as a serious gardener??).  But, guess what, if I 
need a 40 lb bag of seed starting mix on a Sunday afternoon, I'll most 
likely get it at Walmart!  (And, I've never planted a Martha Washington, so 
there!!)

Anyway, my apologies to the rest of the list; didn't mean to cause offense, 
just to suggest that there are other issues besides price in selecting 
merchants...
