I have been starting my own Pelargoniums from seed. Seed from Thompson &
Morgan only gave one or two plants. I had more success with seed from my
nursery bought novelty plants that I started just to see what they would be.
Flower colors were dark pink or reddish, variegation and interesting leaf
forms were lost. Seeds need to be started very early, December/January to
have flowers in early summer.
