Honeysuckle (Lonicera) might be a fast fill - in vine with the
yellow/coral colors you want, if it would bloom that early.
Alternatively, get a vine with really good (thick) foliage and wire in
cut flowers. Sweet peas are also great idea. >>
A few more suggestions: use four vines, two on each side, buying good heavy
growing specimens. Someone mentioned lilies, lilies dress up a garden. There
must be a Master Gardener program in your state. They could give you all
kinds of information on bloom dates. And, with tongue in cheek, there is a
large and beautiful book on weddings at home by Martha Stewart. I have seen
it in the library. Martha has a garden section. Containers can be started
early in your season in the best locations in your garden and then moved to
the wedding site when needed.
The peony suggestion by Paul is a very neat and interesting idea. We have
done that a few times. You can collect peony buds from all your friends,
store in the veg drawers in your fridge and have the day of the event. There
are several methods but all call for wrapping buds showing a small bit of
color in damp towels, wrap in something that breathes and check now and then
until needed. You could have large florist type vases of huge flowers using
this method.
