===>Sorry, Duncan. I did not mean to imply that these prices were out of
line for those plants. I've read that some of these hybrids can cost
thousands of dollars in Japan. And they're gorgeous plants. "Expensive" is
relative, isn't it? Expensive to me just means a LOT of money, NOT "more
money than it's worth." Many one-of-a-kind but quite pricey items are well
worth their high price tags, and perhaps even bargains. Just out of my
budget. I hope I'm forgiven.
<<Thimblefarms will be offering more soon... so please
stay tuned. You should look at the cost for
Meconopsis... very cheap to me. >>
===Would that I could grow Meconopsis in my climate. I also read with
interest the information about double trilliums which I also lust for, and
also not budget-priced. I'm incredibly impressed with the Thimble Farms list
and have printed out the sections for plants I collect, including the
trilliums, corydalis, tricyrtis, erythroniums, an on...... And now have to
narrow down to what I can afford. Thank you for making the list aware of
this gem of a nursery.
