I have to say I am really disappointed that I won't be able to visit the land of Munchkin it sounds a great place Gene, and have followed your contributions over the last couple of years (along with everyone else's) with interest. Thought I would take the opportunity to wish all listers a happy gardening year, and know from experience that what ever else, it will be different from other years, which is what makes our 'hobby' (obsession) so interesting.
If any of you on your 'plant treks' find yourself heading to South East England let me know and would be happy to point you towards some great gardens or plant sales or both! The Kent group of the Hardy Plant Society are having 6 this year dotted round the county in some fabulous gardens, so contact me if you would like the dates and locations.
The weather has warmed a bit after a prolonged spell of ground and air frosts and having to rely on shrubs and grasses to provide such colour and structure as there is. But as gardeners we are always looking forward to better things, with patience!
Once again thanks for all the correspondence over the past year,( interesting to hear your comments about 'Ground Force' on BBC America, very popular over here) Happy New Year
