Susan,
Is 'Blue Fortune' hybrid the butterfly magnet that some sources are claiming (here in our NW city)? Also, I read it is a 2-3' mounder, but do you cut it back a bit in early spring to prevent it from becoming lanky, or does it mound up pretty good without pinching? I have notes in my garden journal to do this this year with mine, to try to get more stems/flowers. I have A. rupestris Apricot Sunrise, and a couple others, but no blue-ish ones. I love the smell of the leaves, it is one of my favorite plants to put near seating areas.
Still trying to relearn the pronunciation! ( I said aga--STACH ee !)
