Ken Druse is one of my favorite authors.  His books on The Natural Shade Garden, The Natural Garden and The Collectors Garden are among my favorites.  The prose and photography are both excellent.

By the way, if anyone is interested in plant propagation, run to the bookstore for Ken Druse's new book, Making More Plants.  He details lots of interesting techniques, many of which I think he invented/discovered on his own.  And he took all of the photos himself, I think over 700 in this book.  Look at the ones which show his two hands doing some procedure and ask how he also took the photo. No, I'm not related to Ken.
