I bought plants from H&H last year and was very pleased with them. I
had ordered a dozen varieties of Salvia and the owner of H&H called me
personally to go over the list and told me which ones would die in the
Texas heat and he didn't recommend then. Some I skipped and other I
took a chance on and he was right, they burned up even in deep shade.
Next time I will listen. <G>

Nearly all of their plants are over wintered outside and are not hot
house sissies so I was impressed by that.

The down side of H&H and most mail order nurseries for me is they ship
so late in the year for my climate. When it's warm enough for them to
ship it is usually to hot here to receive and way to hot to plant. I
got my order in May and had to hold them over in pots until the fall. I
need my plants now or even better, three weeks ago. Sigh.

Does anyone know of mail order nurseries that ships in winter?

Anyway, I recommend H&H, they seem honest and have good stock from my
experience.
