I would definitely join a Nichols group so please do post if one forms.
There is a Beverley Nichols even at the NW Flower and Garden Show next
week..."Tea & Beverley"; I have a ticket to the show Thursday at 6pm. Here
is the link...but it is sold out:

I did like Bryan Connon's bio of him; my interpretation was that while it
revealed some exaggeration in his writing, I found it fascinating...and have
corresponded with a Scottish fan of Nichols who has read the bio twice...But
I can understand why it might disappoint. (The cruellest biography I evern
read was the posthumous one written about May Sarton!).
Thanks for the excellent list of his books...I have read all of these, and a
number of his books on other subjects.
